Ferry services around Greece resumed normal operation after strong winds started to abate on Wednesday. Ships were banned from sailing on Wednesday morning due to powerful winds reaching up to 9 and even 10 Beaufort.
The Aghia Marina-Nea Styra and Kavala-Prinos ferry links were not running still at 2 p.m. Wednesday, though.
Sailing of hydrofoils is at the captain’s discretion.
Passengers due to travel by sea on Wednesday should contact the local port authorities or their travel agents before departing, in case of changes or cancellations.
