The schedule for the season shows that 16 cruise ships will call into Zakynthos, while, at the same time, 117 cruise ships will call into Kefalonias’ Argostoli and Corfu is expecting 399 cruise ships.
The above comparison inevitably creates frustration, for yet another year the island is one of the last options of companies operating in the cruise industry not only because of the lack of reliable port infrastructure for mooring ships but also because it has not been established as a cruise destination, despite the many options offered to the visitor.
