Talking about bizarre things happening on a flight and in Zakynthos…..,
Three days ago, whilst the Scandinavian Airlines Airbus, A321 flight was preparing for takeoff for its destination Copenhagen, it seems that a woman who refused to place her hand luggage under her seat, took her refusing to do so, a little further and just before takeoff decided to open one of the emergency exit doors, which in turn caused the emergency slide to be triggered open.
Only in Zakynthos, I hear you saying??
The cabin crew warned the woman to place her hand luggage under her seat as it was due to safety regulation laws, however, the woman refused. For some unknown reason, the woman got angry at being told and although the cabin crew tried to calm her down, she headed right for the exit door. Opening it caused the flight to be cancelled and technicians had to restore the emergency slide once again before the flight could be rescheduled to fly again.
The flight SK7290, a chartered flight had 161 passengers on board. All passengers had to spend an extra night on our Paradise Island due to the woman’s actions but were flown home on the same plane the very next day without any interruptions.
