The Committee of Infectious Diseases is meeting today, which suggests the taking of any new measures.

Latest information – No additional measures are planned until New Year
It is reminded that today at 6 pm the information about the vaccinations and the evolution of the pandemic in the country is scheduled, while information has been said that the announcements from the Minister of Health will be made earlier.
The measures will aim to put a “brake” on the coronavirus and the Omicron mutation. At the moment from now and up until the New Year, there is no provision for a new measure, while according to information; strict controls will be carried out.
The measures on the table
Among the measures on the table is the closure of restaurants from 11 pm to 5 am, while discussing the drastic reduction of customers inside restaurants.
In addition, the issue of full capacity within stores, the entry of customers inside commercial stores per square meter and the no standing measure within restaurants is being examined.
At the same time, at 12 o’clock, the Prime Minister had a meeting with the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, and the focus of their discussion was the pandemic and the developments in the economy.
