The new cases of coronavirus in our country remain in high numbers while the concern for the patients with Covid-19 who are intubated is intensifying.
In particular, EODY announced 715 more infections on Monday (790 yesterday), with 93 of the new positive diagnoses being associated with known influxes of virus cases. Another 48 cases were detected following checks at the country’s gates.
At the same time, ICU-intubated patients with Covid-19 “jumped” to 95, from 84 on Sunday, according to the report. The median age of these patients “fell” – compared to last week – to 65 years. It should be noted that recently, the imports in the simple beds for coronavirus have also increased, an element for which EODY does not report regularly.
In addition, the competent Organization recorded the death of 7 more of our fellow citizens due to complications of the disease caused by the new virus.
In total, the number of cases in the country, from the beginning of the epidemic until today, is 31,496 while the death toll rose to 581.
In relation to the geography of the cases, the following are disclosed:
An additional 715 cases have been reported, of which 93 are associated with known confluences according to the epidemiological investigation to date.
