The positivity rates in areas such as Ilia, Ikaria and Naxos are of concern, as shown by the latest data of EODY. The coronavirus “gallops” in dozens of areas of the country.
The positivity in Ilia reaches 8.27%, in Ikaria 7.67%, followed by Naxos with 7.22%, while the situation in Kalymnos is problematic, where the positivity is 4.84% and in Kavala with 4, 63%.
During the week of August 23, 2021 – August 29, 2021 (2021-W34) the positivity rate was 3.37% in a total of 633,925 laboratory tests (RT-PCR / Rapid-Ag) and 1% in a total of 518,799 self-diagnostic tests. In all tests, the positivity rate was 1.93%.
