Daily report of epidemiological surveillance of new coronavirus infection (COVID-19)

Today we announce 270 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 26 were detected after checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 9800, of which 55.6% are men.
2012 (20.5%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 4347 (44.4%) are related to an already known case.
35 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 68 years. 12 (34.3%) are women and the rest are men. 42.9% have an underlying disease or are aged 70 and over. 147 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 5 more recorded deaths and 259 deaths in total in the country. 91 (35.1%) women and the rest men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 78 years and 93.8% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
