The coronavirus epidemic in Greece seems to be moving with a sharply increased number of daily cases, with EODY announcing on Wednesday afternoon 354 new diagnoses. Three new deaths.
A particularly high number of new coronavirus infections were confirmed again by the health authorities, as on Monday afternoon (30/9) the National Organization of Public Health (EODY) 354 new cases in the country, of which 56 are associated with known confluences and 23 localized controls at the country gates.
Out of the 325 domestic cases, while 25 are connected with a random sampling action of EODY in the centre of Athens.

The total number of cases is 18475, of which 56.1% are men. 2927 (15.8%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 7598 (41.1%) are related to an already known case.
There are 78 of our fellow citizens who are treated by intubation. Their median age is 69 years. 22 (28.2%) are women and the rest are men. 87.2% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are aged 70 years and older.
Also 212 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 3 more recorded deaths and 391 deaths in total in the country. 144 (36.8%) women and the rest men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.7% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
