The number of new coronavirus diagnoses has returned to alarmingly high levels, as the National Organization for Public Health (EODY) announced on Tuesday afternoon (6/10) the new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease are 399, of which 55 are associated with known syrups. and 33 were located after checks at the country’s gates.
The total number of cases is 20541 (daily change + 2.0%), of which 55.9% are men. 3122 (15.2%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 8385 (40.8%) are related to an already known case.
Of the 359 domestic cases, 55 are associated with known confluences, while 6 are associated with EODY random sampling actions.

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 3, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 420 deaths have been recorded. 158 (37.6%) were women and the rest were men. The median age of our dying fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.4% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 87 (72.4% men). Their median age is 67 years. 24 (27.6%) are women and the rest are men. 89.7% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are aged 70 years and older.
Also 229 patients have been discharged from the ICU
