Today, the Ministry of Health announced 124 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 15 were detected after checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 4,973, of which 54.6% are men.
1349 (27.1%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 2,479 (49.8%) are related to an already known case.
13 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 70 years. 3 (23.1%) are women and the rest are men. 69.2% have an underlying disease or are older than 70 years.
129 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 1 more recorded death and 210 deaths in total in the country.
67 (31.9%) women and the rest men. The median age of our dying fellow citizens was 76 years and 95.7% had some underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.

Fifteeen (15) cases were found during checks carried out at the entrance gates of the country,

-twenty (22) in Thessaloniki, 4 cases are connected ‘in-hospital” of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki.Gennimatas,. 2 cases are connected to the case in the A ‘D.O.Y. of Thessaloniki, one case connected to the wedding in Ampelokipi Thessaloniki and another 6 cases connected of intra-domestic contact with a perpetual case.

-Two (2) in Rhodes, colored with the wedding of Ampelokipos, Thessaloniki.
Eighteen (18) in Evros, all connected with the wedding in Alexandroupolis *.

-Eight (8) in Larissa, where 6 cases are in regards to doctors from two hospitals in Larissa in which they had holidays in Halkidiki and contacted the virus from a close friend.
-Six (6) in Magnesia, out of the 4 contacted the virus within the complex of the camp of Stefanovikeio in Volos and one (1) contracted then virus from the wedding in Alexandroupolis.
-One (1) in Pieria.
-One (1) in Kastoria.
-One (1) in Corfu.
-Two (2) in Kozani.
-One (1) in the Cyclades.
-One (1) in Pella.
-Two (2) in Halkidiki.
-One (1) in Chania.
