The distribution of new coronavirus cases throughout the country.
In Attica, most of the new cases of coronavirus in Greece are recorded for another 24 hours and on Saturday, September 4, according to the distribution of cases announced by EODY. Specifically, out of the total of 2,286 new cases of coronavirus, 583 cases are recorded in Attica and 246 in Thessaloniki.

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 2,286, of which 13 were identified after checks at the country’s gates.
The total number of cases is 598,667 (daily change + 0.4%), of which 51.0% are men.
Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 161 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 1,614 are related to an already known case.
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 30, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 13,843 deaths have been recorded. 95.3% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older
The number of patients treated by intubation is 381 (60.1% men). Their median age is 64 years.
82.7% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
Among intubated patients, 343 (90.03%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 38 (9.97%) are fully vaccinated.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,998 patients have been discharged from the ICU. The admissions of new Covid-19 patients in the hospitals of the territory are 201 (daily change -18.29%). The average seven-day admission is 240 patients.
The median age of cases is 39 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
Vaccinations.
A total of 11,495,740 vaccinations have been carried out +28.755 on 03/09/2021.
6,122,095 vaccinations with at least 1 dose have been given +21.530 on 03/09/2021.
Whilst 5,766,616 comprehensive vaccinations have been performed +9.565 on 03/09/2021.
Zakynthos.
A total of 47.067 vaccinations have been carried out (+135 on 03/09/2021).
26.435 vaccinations with at least 1 dose have been given (+94 on 03/09/2021)
Whilst 25.173 comprehensive vaccinations have been preformed (+56 on 03/09/2021).
