Greece:- ENFIA;- Property Tax in 6 instalments.

ENFIA 2021: The statements for payment in 6 installments at myAADE.gr

ENFIA payment in 6 installments – The statements were posted on myaade.gr

The liquidations of ENFIA for 2021 were posted on myaade.gr, the payment of which will be made in 6 installments. Property owners will be able to pay a double installment in October at no extra charge.

For those whose property situation has not changed, there will be no differences in this year’s ENFIA compared to last year, and the approximately 7.3 million property owners, natural and legal persons will be required to pay a total tax of just over 2, 5 billion euros.

Differences in their liquidation will be seen only by those who bought or sold the property, as well as the owners who proceeded to settle arbitrary surfaces.

ENFIA: How to pay this year’s tax – Changes in installments

Payment of the first two instalments of ENFIA at the end of October to all taxpayers, without any charge, announced the Minister of Finance Christos Staikouras speaking on the Parliament channel.

According to the Minister of Finance, the reason is the narrow time frame from the posting of the statements (expected to start the day after Wednesday) until the payment of the first instalment at the end of this month.

This year’s bills will be the same as last year’s for about 7.3 million homeowners, unless they have changed: the value of the assets through transfers, or the number of square feet through the process of legalizing undeclared areas, or the declared income due to the pandemic. The tax is paid in 6 monthly instalments, with the first until the end of September this year and the last until the end of February 2022.

It is estimated that more than 1.3 million taxpayers are entitled to a 50% discount or full tax exemption this year. The fire victims are also entitled to exemption from ENFIA this year, as long as they have submitted or submit an application on the arogi.gov.gr platform.

For those who apply after Tuesday, September 21st and until October 15th this year, the initial liquidation of ENFIA will include these properties and then a new liquidation will be reissued by AADE until October 30th with the tax exemption.

Especially for property owners in West Attica and Corinth who were affected by the fires and have not submitted an application on the platform arogi.gov.gr until September 21, the exemption will be granted by AADE directly without the need to submit an application to the platform.
