Linou: “More vaccines for the vulnerable and more tests for those who circulate outside”
We need to get more vaccines in vulnerable populations and more tests to those who are way out.
The professor of epidemiology, Athena Linou, spoke to “Ora Hellas” about the epidemic, the removal of the lockdown and the measures that must be taken.
Ms. Linou also referred to the 60-year-old from Syros who collapsed after the vaccine and stressed that “it is too early to draw conclusions and whether the vaccine is really responsible. “Everything is possible and everything is unlikely,” she said.
Regarding the opening of the country, she clarified that “we are opening well, we have no options, but not all the appropriate measures have been taken yet, such as masks, ventilation, teleworking, etc. It is important to have tracing. “We need to get more vaccines in vulnerable groups and more tests to those who are circulating more.”
