No area is “green”.
Most areas of Greece are orange on the ECDC map, while Crete and some Aegean islands are still in red. Αs the cases of covid-19 are increasing. In yellow appear Central Greece, Evia, – Thrace, islands of the northeastern Aegean. The positivity index in Greece is between 1-3.9%.

The epidemiological burden of the country’s coronavirus is moving upwards, as a result of which the map is changing, with many areas entering the “red” or falling level. The color of each area determines the measures that are imposed whenever deemed necessary.
The new epidemiological map
The Regional Units of Thessaloniki, Halkidiki, Kozani, Florina, Boeotia, Evia, Messinia and Tinos, rise in level and are transferred to Portokali (Level 3)
The Municipalities of Spetses, Paxos, and Chios rise in level and are transferred to Orange (Level 3)
The Regional Units of Kastoria, Xanthi and Arta, go up level and are transferred to Yellow (Level 2)
The Municipalities of Agistri, Lemnos, Eastern Samos, Western Samos, Amorgos, Astypalea, Karpathos, Megisti, Patmos and Symi, rise in level and are transferred to Yellow (Level 2)
The Municipalities of Leros, Milos and Sifnos fall level and are transferred to Yellow (Level 2)
The Regional Units of Ioannina and Grevena fall level and are transferred to Yellow (Level 2)
The Municipalities of Alonissos, Kimolos, Lipsi and Skyros, fall level and are transferred to Prasino (Level 1).
As for the rest of Europe, in the “red” is Cyprus and parts of Spain and the Netherlands, while “orange” is the rest of Spain, Portugal and the rest of the Netherlands.
It is noted that the country is in the “deep green” in terms of the number of tests performed.
In terms of positivity, most of Greece is in the “yellow”, with Epirus only being an exception.
It is noted that the ECDC maps are based on data declared by EU member states. in the European System of Surveillance (TESSy).
