Masks final .. What applies to schools and Universities.
On Wednesday, June 1st, the mandatory use of the mask in all indoor and outdoor areas will be abolished, with some exceptions.
The change of the obligation will be valid until September 15, 2022, when a new decision is expected based on the then epidemiological data.
From Wednesday, therefore, the mask is not not needed on airplanes and intercity transport, where there is a numbered seat, such as trains and intercity buses. The mask is also not needed for employees in these areas.
The use of the mask remains within hospital units, elderly care units and other Health structures where its presence is deemed necessary at the moment, while those who use public transport, such as city buses, metro, trolleybuses, should circulate with a mask.
What will apply to schools and universities.
Students will be able to go to school without masks, after the latest decisions of the Special Committee. After the relaxation of the obligation to use a mask both outdoors and indoors, from June 1st, the experts suggested the same for schools and Universities.
The suggestion of the experts was accepted by the Ministry of Education and so pupils, students and teachers in turn will keep their masks in their pocket, so to speak as of 1/6, as their use remains only as a recommendation. At the same time, unvaccinated teachers should have a rapid test every week.
Mandatory use of mask only in exams.
