Supermarket – The new changes – What applies to vaccinated and unvaccinated.
The recommendation of the Committee of Experts brings changes in the operation of supermarkets and retail, while it is not excluded that there may be new restrictions for the unvaccinated.
On its recommendation, the Committee of Experts proposes changes in the way retail and supermarkets operate, while it is not ruled out that in the near future, depending on the epidemiological picture of the country, they may return with stricter proposals. The committee’s suggestion to hold a conference that puts a “blockade” on the unvaccinated may pave the way for further restrictions on those who have not been “bitten”.
The recommendation of the committee
The recommendation of the committee for supermarkets and retail is to allow 1 person per 9 sq.m. while there is no change for the use of a mask that is mandatory indoors. However, the situation is still fragile, as the Delta mutation “threatens” to bring tougher measures, especially to the unvaccinated, as shown by the government’s announcements about the focus.
It has been heard in the public debate that stricter measures will be needed for the access of the unvaccinated to retail, by conducting a rapid test or the implementation of the click away measure, however nothing has been officially announced. Other European countries, however, are considering tightening the framework for the unvaccinated, mainly as a persuasive measure, in order to increase vaccination rates.
We remind you that the suggestion of the experts does not bring about changes on its own, as it is the government that will decide whether these measures will be implemented. Thus, they will continue to operate in the same way – until the new measures are announced – as follows:
Super Market.
One customer per 15 square meters.
With distances and mandatory use of a mask.
Retail.
One customer per 16 square meters
With distances and mandatory use of a mask.
