She lands at the airport and disappears, family members appeal to find Mrike Koka!

The 72-year-old Zakynthian resident had arrived in Fiumicino from Greece to visit her niece in Monterotondo

She landed at the airport and disappeared. Those were anxious days experienced by the family of Mrike Koka, who simply vanished into thin air it seems, since October 2nd after arriving in Fiumicino from Zakynthos to visit her grandchildren. As the granddaughter of the Seventy-two years old, Albanian national waited at Leonardo Da Vinci and after waiting in vain for a few hours then discovered that her grandmother had already left the Leonardo Da Vinci airport, by walking away from the international airport area .

The disappearance of the grandmother was reported to the police, to launch the appeal to find her.  Granddaughter Armela Deda: “We are very worried about our grandmother. We were waiting for her to take her home to Monterotondo, after a couple of hours she didn’t come out we asked the airport security if we could enter the airport with them to look for her “. However, Mrs. Mrike Koka was not there. Landing in Fiumicino with a flight from Zakynthos (Greece), viewing the images it was then discovered that the 72-year-old had arrived for a couple of hours and that she eventually exited from Leonardo Da Vinci on foot and alone.

Wearing eyeglasses, Mrs. Mrike was wearing black trousers and a white floral shirt at the time of her disappearance. With her, a dark-coloured trolley and a white shoulder bag. “We thought she took a taxi to come to Monterotondo, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Bad luck also that her mobile phone had broken the day before she arrived in Fiumicino. Maybe she headed for the train station, we don’t know what happened”.

Hence the appeal of the niece: “Anyone with information, please contact the police or contact us at my phone number: 3884967485”.
