Today begins an unpleasant day for our island: a 53-year-old foreign national was fatally injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the early morning hours in Laganas.
According to the first information provided, the 53-year-old was driving a motorcycle that collided with a car, driven by a 36-year-old native. The driver collided with the motorcycle driven by a 54-year-old foreigner. The accident happened along the national road of Zakynthos Keri, near the radio station in Laganas.
An EKAB ambulance rushed to the spot, which transported the 53-year-old to the Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Preliminary investigation for the causes of the tragedy is being carried out by the Zakynthos Traffic Department.
