As you may recall John Tossell, from Wales who holidayed here in Zakynthos went missing on June the 17th.
That day he decided to go for a walk up on Mount Skopos. Most would know that this mountain is not a very big mountain and if someone went missing it wouldn’t take long to be found. However, it does have its mystery.
John never returned and still there is no sign of him. It seems he has just simply vanished! In all the years, according to sources, one or two similar cases have been heard of where people have just simply vanished off Skopos. In one case they were found, in the other, even till this day there is no sign of that person missing.
John’s case is similar to the latter; he went for a walk a never returned. Just what happened to John; authorities are still investigating.
Over the last several weeks gone by the family have pleaded from people to come forward with any information. No one has come forth and the family’s anguish has caused them to get help. They have recently been in contact with Journalist/ Detective Aggeliki Nikolouli.
Her programme called “Light in the Tunnel” on Alpha Channel, will start its season on the 18th of October. According to sources the film crew are here in Zakynthos and along with Aggeliki, are trying to piece together exactly what happened that day.
Ms Nikolouli has helped solve a number of cases and along with her experienced team and the help of viewers has found more than 1,610 people in 827 shows and has effectively contributed to the elimination of 25 murders.
Let’s hope that the John Tossell Missing Person’s case will lead to some sort of closure for the family and that the programme can honestly shed some light as to the whereabouts of John Tossell.
