International lighthouse and Lightship day.
As part of the World Day, citizens will have the opportunity to visit a lighthouse. You will have the opportunity to learn about the contribution of lighthouses to maritime safety. In addition the utilization as part of our cultural heritage and the contribution of their operation within the network.
on Sunday the 18th of August, 2019 in celebration of this day, there will be 28 lighthouses open to the public around Greece.
In Zakynthos, the lighthouse at Skinari, Volimes, will be open to the public.
Opening hours will be from 10.00a.m till 20.00p.m. on Sunday the 18th of August.
