As most of our community got to know about the plight little Vassilis was facing, it didn’t take long for people to get together to help in his fight for a normal life.
Today was the day we had been waiting for. Although it took approximately eight hours to get the thumbs up that all went well. The good news is that the little boy did not have to stay in the intensive care unit after the operation. A good sign says the doctors.
We can now say that Vassilis after his operation is now on the road to recovery.
We remind you that once he had his operation there would be an excellent chance of him growing into a healthy little boy, far away from the problems he had recently.
Over the next few days he will be closely watched and soon will recieve the bill of good health and return back to our Island.
We wish Vassilis a speedy recovery!!!
