Lucky thirteen for Zakynthos!

Thirteen may be unlucky for some, but for Zakynthos, it’s lucky thirteen for the USA publication The News & Observer in their recent article; 35 Best Beaches in the World for a Relaxing Getaway. The article featured amazing beached around the world that according to The News & Observer are “a little more effort to get but are nevertheless breathtaking in their natural beauty, from the shores of Europe to the sands of Asia, Africa, and beyond.”

Described as one of the most stunning beaches in Greece, and only accessible by water, it is a beach that is “a magnificent work of nature, situated in a crescent-shaped bay bordered by high cliffs that continue into the beautiful turquoise sea, where you’ll discover sea caves.” The article also explains the history of the shipwreck and how to access the beach.

Navagio Beach may be at number 13 on the list of 35 worldwide locations, but it’s in some fantastic company:
