So you may have seen on some websites that Porto Zoro of Zakynthos has been voted “The most beautiful beach in the world”, well that’s the title some of these web papers read. However, as it was mentioned that it came from a list from the famous magazine and company known as “Cosmopolitan” our Zakynthos informer team were even more interested in just how our beautiful island got this title.
Unfortunately, we were unable to get any direct source from the company but we did manage to get an old story that was true in 2017, and of course back then the original post in which we put on our page. Yes, our beautiful Porto Zoro was voted back then “the most obscure beach in Greece” by secret escapes. We did do a bit of digging, on their site and actually looked at their magazine to see if there was anything out lately they had posted about Greece in general, we must say we were happy to see under the title “Five of the best Greek Islands,” Zakynthos just happened to come up first with a great read underneath as follows:-

Some will say Santorini shows off unbeatable views, but Zante offers up impressive and refreshing vistasof its own. Sightseeing on this southernmost Ionian island is a magical and mesmerising task, whether from atop its highest point Mount Vrachionas, or all the way down under – plan a snorkelling or scuba diving escapade to find stunning underwater caves and rocky coral reefs. It’s easy to reach, too, with ferry services from the ports of Patras and Kyllini as well as direct flights from London to Dionysios Solomos airport.
One thing we at Zakynthos Informer would like to point out is that ferry boats are not available to our Island from Patra directly as stated in the above and yes we totally agree that Zakynthos beaches are “The Best” in the world in accordance to some of the web papers say but we are just being biased.
