An employee of the Ionian Islands Social Welfare Center (former ODAZ) was found to be positive for the coronavirus.
All the measures taken for the protection of the guests were taken immediately.
According to information from the administration of the Center, the employee had not come in contact with a guest, however the Department for the Disabled closed precautionarily and the woman was quarantined.
The Disability Department will be closed for a week and will reopen next Monday.
Also, it should be mentioned that after tracing that took place within her direct contacts, no other positive case was detected.
Finally, it should be noted that the employee has been vaccinated against Covid-19.
