Budget 2.4 million euros
The implementation of 22 public projects in the Local Program of CLLD Leader Zakynthos of the Zakynthos Cooperation Network in the Rural Development Program 2014-2020, with a budget of 2.4 million euros after the signing of the relevant decisions for the Acts by the Regional Governor Ionian Islands Rodi Kratsa – Tsagaropoulou, is now in the final stage.
These operations come to give investment and developmental relief by creating conditions and conditions that will improve the quality of life of the areas by gently utilizing important social infrastructure, cultural activity and our cultural heritage and the rich environmental reserve of Zakynthos.
As stated by the Deputy Regional Minister of Agricultural Economy & Rural Development, Sotiris Kouris, “their implementation will contribute substantially to the satisfaction of the needs of the Municipality of Zakynthos and the cultural institutions of the island. The Region is always a helper in any kind of effort aimed at supporting the rural economy and rural development of the Ionian Islands. Congratulations also to the local action team that, with their dedication to their goal, have successfully met the challenges of the Leader program “.

In Action 19.2.4.2 “Support for the creation, improvement or expansion of local basic services for the rural population, as well as the relevant infrastructure (eg kindergartens, rural clinics, etc.)”
- SUPPLY OF OPERATING EQUIPMENT with the beneficiary the Municipal and Nursery Schools of the Municipality of Zakynthos, budget 24,800 euros
- SPIRITUAL AND CULTURAL CENTRE FOR YOUTH with the beneficiary the Cultural Association “CLUB O ZAKYNTHOS”, budget 402,573.47 euros
In Action 19.2.4.3 “Support for investments for public use in services and infrastructure of leisure, regeneration, tourist information and small-scale tourist infrastructure (eg markings, common areas, promotion of areas, cycling routes, etc.).

- RESTORATION OF VENETIAN VARDIOLA IN THE LOCATION OF A ‘MIKRO NISI” OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ZAKYNTHOS with the beneficiary the Municipality of Zakynthos, budget 60,950.88 euros
- REHABILITATION AND RENOVATION FOR THE UPGRADE OF MUNICIPAL RECREATION AND SPORTS SPACES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ZAKYNTHOS with the beneficiary the Municipality of Zakynthos, budget 405,957 euros
- CREATION OF A PHOTGRAPHIC ALBUM with the beneficiary of the Association “Giostra of Zakynthos – Giostra di Zante” budget 9,510.80 euros
In Action 19.2.4.4 “Enhancement of cultural events” of Sub-measure 19.2 “Support for the implementation of actions under the Local Development Strategy for public interventions”, of Measure 19 “Local Development on the Initiative of Local Communities (TAPTOK)” of the RDP 2014 2020.
- ORGANIZATION OF CULTURAL FESTIVAL ZAKYNTHIA 2020 with beneficiary the Municipality of Zakynthos, budget 49,000 euros
- “PHOTO EXHIBITION OF MONUMENTS OF DISADVANTAGED / ABANDONED MAIN AREAS OF ZAKYNTHOS IN THEIR NATURAL ENVIRONMENT” / Acronym: ZantPHOtex.
In Action 19.2.4.5 ”Support for studies, services and investments related to culture, with the preservation, restoration and upgrading of the cultural and natural heritage of villages, rural landscapes and places of high natural value, including relevant socio-economic aspects, as well as environmental awareness actions (including cultural / conference centres, museums, cultural features of the countryside – mills, bridges, etc.) ”of Sub-measure 19.2“ Support for the implementation of actions under the Local Development Strategy of public character ”, of Measure 19“ Local Development on the Initiative of Local Communities (TAPTOK) ”of the RDP 2014-2020.

- RECORD, DIGITIZATION, EDITION MUSIC RECORDS MUSEUM SOLMOS & Eminent Zakynthians, PROMOTION THROUGH WEBSITE AND MAP leaflets, MAINTENANCE RECORDS AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND UPGRADE SERVICE FONT beneficiary with the Museum of Solomos and Eminent Zakynthos, with a budget of EUR 138,408.76
- SUPPORT CONSERVATION AND PROMOTION OF THE ZAKYNTHIAN Idiom IN THE ARTS with the beneficiary the Cultural Association RODAMPELOS budget 17,378.60 euros
- STUDY AND EQUIPMENT OF THE CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF SARAKINADO with the beneficiary the Cultural Association of Sarakinados budget 104,413.13 euros
- SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE DANCE GROUP “FIORO TOU LEVANTE” with the beneficiary the Dance Group “Fioro tou Levante” budget 26,830.09 euros
- SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE ASSOCIATION THE GIOSTRA OF ZAKYNTHOS with the beneficiary the Association “Giostra of Zakynthos – Giostra di Zante” budget 121,925.85 euros
SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT FOR CULTURAL EVENTS AND INSTITUTIONS OF THE PHILHARMONICS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ZAKYNTHOS with the beneficiary the Municipality of Zakynthos, budget 499,929.32 euros
- SUPPORT UPGRADE OF AMK THE SINGERS OF ZAKYNTHOS with beneficiary “The Singers of Zakynthos”, budget 32,627.09 euros
- SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF YOUNG ZAKYNTHOS ORCHESTRA with beneficiary the Youth Orchestra of Zakynthos K. Meintanis – Th. Karabimberis, budget 111,990.76 euros
- “PRODUCTION OF DIGITAL MATERIAL CORRESPONDING TO THE ‘VASILIKO OF ANT. MATESI / – Acronym: VASILIKOS ”with beneficiary the Art Curtain of Zakynthos, budget 98,322.58 euros
In Action 19.2.6.1 “Prevention and rehabilitation of areas from fires and other natural disasters” of Sub-measure 19.2 “Support for the implementation of actions under the Local Development Strategy for public interventions”, of Measure 19 “Local Development at the Initiative of Local Communities ( ΤΑΠΤοΚ) ”of PAA 2014-2020.
- IMPROVEMENT OF WATER SUPPLY POINTS FOR EXTINGUISHING SUPPLY with beneficiary the Municipality of Zakynthos, budget 70,680 euros
- SUPPLY OF FIRE-FIGHTING EQUIPMENT FOR THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF FORESTS OF THE FOREST AREA COMMUNITY OF KERI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD COMMUNITIES
The operations are co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The signing of contracts and the implementation will follow.
