The Associations of Parents and Guardians, members and non-members of the Union of Parents of Students of Zakynthos, hereby state that we are particularly concerned about the existence of increasing positive cases in young students of Zakynthos. We wish to them a speedy recovery to their health.
Both the Parents’ Association of our island and the Association of Hospital Doctors have not succeeded to convince those in charge that, while we are in the red, due to the outbreak of coronavirus. Our schools should be closed, we are forced to we also address this appeal.
What the associations request
In particular, we call for the suspension of schools. We request lifelong learning and the launch of distance learning in order to stop the spread of the virus to students and their families. As the health of all of us is the highest concern. We ask this until Zakynthos ceases to be a “red” area.
