It seems light the green light has been given for visitors to approach our “shipwreck”.
After the extraordinary meeting of the Civil Protection Coordinating Body, held yesterday (12/9) evening, it was decided to reopen the Shipwreck from this evening today.
The local authorities took this decision after the conclusion given to them by the scientists of the OASP, who visited our island last Friday and performed an autopsy in the area, after the landslide that had occurred following the 5.4-magnitude earthquake of . Richter scale.
As of yet the details of re-opening the shipwreck area have not been given at this stage. However, we are certain that some measures will be in place.
A full report tomorrow will be given by our local news papers and we will update as reports come in.
