Two Greeks broke into a parked vehicle and stole cash and a mobile phone.
The cash they found in a car that they had broken into while it was parked in an area in Zakynthos last Friday night, was not enough for the perpetrators who stole a mobile phone, which later lead to their conviction.
The two Greeks broke into the car and snatched 300 euros and various items from inside, including the mobile phone in question. However, the device had the GPS activated and the Security police, who were informed about the theft by the owner of the vehicle, immediately located its signal.
A little while later, they located one of the perpetrators in the city of Zakynthos, found in his possession the mobile phone which was returned to its owner and arrested him. The perpetrator was taken to the Zakynthos Public Prosecutor’s Office accused of theft, while his accomplice, whose details are known, is wanted by the police.
