An event by Skoulikados Cultural Association “O Erotokritos” will take place today at 20.30p.m

A big screen will be placed in the Square of our National Poet Dionysios Solomos. The screen will be in front of the Museum, where you will be able to watch a unique event.
The representation of the Oath of Kolokotronis, will take place at the church of Agios Georgios ton Filikon and will be broadcast live. The history of Zakynthos during the Revolution of 1821 comes alive!

The live broadcast is undertaken by our local T.V channel,  “Ionian”.
The Director of the Museum of Solomos and Prominent Zakynthian Katerina Demeti will announce the event and after the “oath”, songs will be sung by Zakynthian Songwriters of the time by  the “Tragoudistades tsi Zakynthos”.

The organization of the event is an initiative of the Cultural Association of Skoulikados “O Erotokritos” in honour of the 200 years since the Revolution of 1821.
