As we have heard on news reports the coronavirus does not recognise age, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. However, residents of Zakynthos are shocked to hear that a child in Zakynthos has caught the virus.
Today, at the General Hospital of Zakynthos three people were diagnosed positive for the coronavirus. These are two (2) women 42 and 40 years old and a small child just 10 years old!
All three new cases are likely to be related to a previous case.
Their symptoms are mild, so they will be quarantined for 14 days at home.
