A 7th person dies today of COVID-19 .
According to information given from the area of Kozani a 86-year-old who was infected with the coronavirus early in the week lost his life at Mamazio Kozani Hospital.
The man was a permanent resident of Damaskinias, Kozani. He presented symptoms of the disease a week ago but after worsening, collapsed day five and lost the battle for life.
He is the second victim of the coronavirus in the village after the 90-year-old father of the original village carrier.
The unfortunate thing is that another elderly resident of the village is also in critical condition and has been intubated.
