Zakynthian festivals never seem to stop over the summer period and what better way to get to know our culture through one of these events.

On Saturday the 25th of June the cultural association EROTOKRITOS is holding an event that not only depicts Zakynthian culture but that of the Seven Islands.

In co-organization with the Regional Office of the Ionian Islands, Peripheral Unit of Zakynthos, they invite you to come and enjoy a dance performance of traditional dances with the participation of the dance departments from “YAKINTHI” and the “KYTHIRA ATHENS ASSOCIATION “, representing the Island of Kythira.

 

The evening starts at the social club’s courtyard at 20.30p.m, admission is free.

Louise is Australian born and has been a Greek citizen since 1991. She has deep cultural ties with the island, often writing about Zakynthian Traditions and Culture. She is also an active member of the Volunteer Group of Zakynthos, Giostra Di Zante and is a member of the women's choir "Rodambelos".
