Concerns prevail for our authorities as increased violations of home isolation and the relaxation of measures by citizens are on the rise. According to a SKAI report, since the beginning of the implementation of the 14-day isolation protocol, 246 quarantine violations have been recorded. As a result, a fine of 5,000 euros and the subsequent criminal proceedings have been imposed.
Today, 15,181 people are in quarantine – including people who have recently travelled, confirmed cases, contact tracked cases, etc.
The telephone sampling tests carried out since the beginning of the measure’s implementation are 15,575 and there have been 737 police “visits” to confirm their presence at the scene, if people did not answer the phones. In this context, checks will tighten and become stricter controls with software mapping areas – where all quarantines are included in one map and the addresses of those on other applications – expected also is tightening of police inspections which will increase.

Νew cases of coronavirus in Greece:-
The National Health Organization announced on Wednesday afternoon 11 new cases of covid-19 in our country. Now, the total number of cases is 3068, with 55.2% being men. It is worth noting that the difference from yesterday’s total number of cases is 10, and this is attributed to a double entry of an older case, which was removed.
Of the 3068 cases in total, 692 (22.6%) are related to travel from abroad, 1751 (57.1%) are related to an already known case and the rest are not related to travel or another known case or are still under investigation. The average age of cases is 47 years (range 0 to 102 years). According to information, the 5 cases are located in Fthiotida, 3 in Xanthi, 1 in Drama, 1 in Rodopi, while 1 case is imported.
At hospitals, 12 people are intubated and their average age is 70. The 5 patients (41.7%) are women and the rest are men. 75% have an underlying disease or are over 70 years old.
Also 115 patients have left the ICU.
Finally, no new deaths have been reported, with a total of 183 deaths in the country. 56 were women and the rest were men.
The median age of death was 76 years and 95.6% had an underlying disease and / or age 70 and older.
