Late yesterday afternoon a photograph was doing its rounds on the popoular Social Media page Facebook.
As you can see in the picture it shows a person climbing up the mast of the shipwreck.
The act has put the local community into shock and disbelief and are calling for immediate action. As most of us know these types of dare devil acts have caused problems for Zakynthos in the past. On a couple of occassions the acts of tourists who do not think of the consequences has led to death.
As the “shipewreck” known to locals as the “Navagio” is a top destination. When the death occurred, it certainly made world headlines.
Zakynthos was and will be put under scrutiny again if this person was injured in any form. Local reporter George Gogos stated the madness on his personal page. The above translated, caused people to comment.
