A fire brigade was called by a resident within the area to rescue a dog in an inaccessible area of Kryoneri. In fact, two vehicles of the Service went to the spot, with the Fire-fighters attempting to catch the dog. It had climbed a dangerous cliff and it seemed it couldn’t get down. Despite the efforts of the fire brigade, they were unable to approach the dog, but it did not appear willing to leave the place where it was located either.
We may assume that the dog may have newborn puppies and that may be the reason why it didn’t leave the spot. In fact, after a while it vanished from the spot with the dog itself having no interest at all in coming down from where it climbed to.
