Fly to Zakynthos in 2023 with Jet2!

It’s been announced in the last week that Jet2.com and Jet2 holidays have released the Summer 2023 UK flights programme. Customers will be able to choose holidays for 2023 either directly with Jet2 or through Independent Travel Agents.

The announcement sees flights from six UK airports including Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Manchester, and London Stanstead.

The flights will be to a host of destinations across Europe including Zakynthos. This announcement has come at a difficult time for the aviation authorities but was good news for many.

A spokesperson from Jet2 confirmed the following schedule:

  • Belfast International will fly to 20 destinations, with 40 weekly flights during peak season.
  • Birmingham will fly to 43 destinations with almost 200 weekly flights during peak season.
  • Bristol will fly to 30 destinations with almost 70 weekly flights during peak season.
  • East Midlands will fly to 31 destinations with over 85 weekly flights during peak season. Manchester will fly to 47 destinations with over 280 weekly flights during peak season.
  • London Stanstead will fly to 41 destinations with almost 200 weekly flights during peak season.

This is a huge programme that Jet2 have put together and it’s great to see that the aviation industry is looking to bounce back after what has been a tumultuous time of late.

The CEO of Jet2.com and jet two holidays, Steve Heapy, said:

“This is the earliest we have ever put our Summer Sun programme on sale because we know that customers want something to look forward to more than ever before. Following the recent good news about the reopening of international travel, we have seen strong demand from customers wanting to get that all-important dose of sunshine booked in and this Summer 23 programme helps them do exactly that. As the leading tour operator to many leisure destinations across the Mediterranean and Canary Islands we are providing customers and independent travel agents with unrivalled choice to their favourite destinations. This scale, coupled with customers wanting to book a flight or package holiday with a company that they know will look after them no matter what happens, means we are looking forward to a very successful Summer 23.”

This announcement is great news for tourists to Zakynthos and island businesses, with a focus not only on the summer season of 2022 but the season beyond. This brings hope that things will eventually return to normal for everybody post COVID.
