Greece:- Mykonos, Zakynthos, Thessaloniki: undeclared labor and lockdown in bars and restaurants

Following inspections of health care stores in Mykonos, Zakynthos and Thessaloniki, significant violations were found and a “lockout” was imposed.

 

Inspections of health care stores in Mykonos, Zakynthos and Thessaloniki for compliance with insurance, labor and tax legislation were carried out last week by the Directorate of Economic Police and the Sub-Directorate of Economic Police of Northern Greece

More specifically, according to information given by GRTimes, violations were confirmed in 18 stores, while for 6 of them the competent Authority was informed to impose a suspension of operation for 48 hours.

 

In particular, in the context of the controls, it was found:

 

In Zakynthos.

in a restaurant, the non-issuance of 12 receipts while in addition 7 workers were employed outside working hours,
in a restaurant, not issuing 13 receipts,
in a restaurant, not issuing 13 receipts,
in a cafe-bar, the non-issuance of 33 receipts while in addition 7 employees were employed who were not registered in the personnel tables,
in cafes – bars, the non-issuance of 4 receipts,
in cafes – bars, the non-issuance of 4 receipts,
in a restaurant, the non-issuance of 4 receipts while in addition an employee was employed outside working hours and
in a restaurant, the non-issuance of 3 receipts while in addition 4 employees were employed outside working hours.

At Mykonos.

in a cafe-bar, the non-issuance of a receipt while in addition 3 employees were employed outside of working days and one employee outside of working hours,
in a company, the non-issuance of 17 receipts while in addition 43 employees were employed who were not registered as personnel,
in a cafe – bar, to employ an employee outside of working days,
in a restaurant, to employ 10 workers who were not registered as personnel and 6 workers outside of working days,
in a bar-restaurant, to employ 4 workers who were not registered as personnel and
in a restaurant, to employ 5 workers outside of working days.

In Thessaloniki.

in a coffee shop, the non-issuance of 6 receipts while in addition an employee who was not registered in the personnel tables and 24 employees outside working hours were employed,
in a snack bar, the non-issuance of 9 receipts while in addition 3 workers were employed outside working hours,
in a bar restaurant, the non-issuance of 4 receipts while in addition 10 workers were employed outside working hours and
in a cafe-bar, the non-issuance of 2 receipts while an employee was also employed outside working hours.
For all cases, the competent services (S.E.P.E., D.O.Y., P.E.K.A.) are informed for the imposition of the corresponding administrative sanctions.
