Earlier, government officials had hinted that a different decision could be made ahead of the opening of primary schools and kindergartens next Monday.

It is noted that this measure is voluntary for teachers and of a purely preventive nature regarding the epidemiological picture in schools. Detailed instructions on the operation of the platform will be issued.
At the same time, all the precautionary measures already taken and the instructions of EODY are maintained in force, such as the obligatory use of a mask indoors and outdoors, the use of antiseptics, the thorough cleaning, the special measures for adapted operation of canteens, computer labs, musical instruments and .ά., and of course the sampling checks by EODY.
Experts are concerned
In recent hours, however, some scientists have been concerned about the opening of schools.
Speaking on Thursday morning, Manolis Dermitzakis also referred to the upcoming opening of the schools that has been decided for Monday.
