The arrival of the first six Rafale in Greece on Wednesday gives the government an opportunity to counterattack.
One year after the relevant agreement for the purchase of Rafale, the first six aircraft arrive in Greece on Wednesday.
The first six French fighters will take off on the morning of Wednesday, January 19 from Istria and will land at the 114th Battle Wing in Tanagra at approximately 12:30.
The Rafale may, according to information, shortly before their landing at Tanagra, fly over the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis. As soon as the French fighters enter the Athens FIR, they will be accompanied, according to information, by a pair of Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets of the Air Force.
The two Rafale that will come to Greece tomorrow will be two-seater to be used for the training of young pilots while the other four will be single-seater. They will join the 332 Squadron in Tanagra.
