And as he added, “in tutoring if half the children are missing, no lesson can be done. If we have gaps because some teachers are quarantined, again a lesson can not be done. In order to ensure the smoothness of the educational process, we decided in the first week that there is no school to do the lessons remotely. Answering a question about whether parents want to send their children to schools and tuition centers, in the midst of the peak of the pandemic in Greece, Mr. Vafeiadakis clarified that our decision to recommend e-learning was not a requirement of parents.
“It simply came to our notice then. After all, we will do it for a short time so as not to endanger the children. We judged that at the moment it is an extraordinary condition.
