An extreme weather warning has been issued for areas across Greece and it seems Zakynthos is no exception.
As of tomorrow, Saturday 5th November strong and locally dangerous weather will affect
a) from the morning the northern parts of the Ionian first and Epirus
b) from noon the storm will affect Zakynthos, while later in the afternoon around 17.00p.m we are expected to have a good down poor.
Our authorities have warned that due to the circumstances to avoid circulation during the storm and also be aware that lightening could also cause damage to household appliances. Therefore, it would be best to turn off modems and other such devices.
Winds will be travelling at speeds between 4 and 6 Beaufort from the south.
The bad weather is expected to last up until Sunday afternoon.
