More than 2,000 euros was made from the sale of cocaine and cannabis to young tourists having fun in local bars.
Two foreigners made an inexpensive vacation in Laganas, Zakynthos, as they made significant profits by trafficking quantities of cannabis and cocaine to young tourists, who have fun in the bars of the area. However, they were soon arrested by the Hellenic Police Department during a long operation
The two foreigners were located one after the other during the targeted checks and in their possession, but also during the search in the rooms where they are temporarily staying, their illegal goods were found. In total, 75 grams of raw cannabis, a small amount of cocaine, four mobile phones were confiscated, as well as 2,080 euros that they had collected from the sales.
The two foreigners were taken to the Zakynthos Public Prosecutor’s Office, who charged them with possession and trafficking of drugs on a felony charge and ordered them to remain in custody until their case is heard by the District Attorney.
