From next week, on April 2, the electronic platform for vaccination appointments of the age group of people 65-69 years old opens, as announced during the regular briefing the General Secretary of Primary Health Care Marios Theomistokleous.
Mr. Themistocleous also explained the operation of the mechanism regarding unallocated doses.
According to what Mr. Themistocleous said, the universal implementation of the measure for the unallocated installments is expected to take place in the coming days. Interested citizens will be able to register on the platform and enter a waiting list.
When a dose is available, the platform will select the next one in the waiting list to which a message will be sent on their mobile phone to which vaccination center they should go to in order to be vaccinated.
With this process, citizens will be able to be vaccinated earlier than predetermined.
Also, from April 1, all available vaccination centers are activated.
