Local authorities are on alert about 64-year-old Andrzej Weber who arrived on the island of Crete on April 6 and went missing three days later. His last phone call to his family was on April 8, 2019.
Weber went missing in the region of Sougia on Tuesday, April 9.
According to information published by a Weber’s relative asking for help, he arrived at Chania airport on Saturday, April 6, and headed to the south of Chania Prefecture, precicily to Lefka Ori, via public transport means.
The last time he contacted his family was on April 8, he said he was in Sougia and was planning a tour between Sougia and Hora Sfakia.
“He may have boarded a ferry boat to the island of Gavdos between April 9-10,” the relative notes.
His mobile phone has been turned off since the last phone call.
The Andrzej Weber is 1.94 m tall, slim figure. Short gray hair, grey-green eyes. He was wearing sport clothes, carrying a backpack with a tent, sleeping bag etc, the relative notes, urging people to share the post.
He was supposed to return to Poland on Saturday, april 13, but he did not reach the Chania Airport.
