The Holy Diocese of Zakynthos announced the Program of Holy Masses and Ceremonies during the three days from 16th to 19th December 2022, when our island celebrates the Memory of the Holy and Patron Saint Dionysios. It should be noted that this year marks the 400th anniversary of his death.

On Saturday, December 17, 2022,
The main day of the feast, at 3a.m after midnight, a Holy Vigil will begin.
In the morning, at 7:30 a.m., the Orthro Service will begin and immediately after, the High Priestly Service will be held.
Around 11 am, weather permitting, there will be a litany of the Holy Tabernacle.
A procession around town will take place and will return to Saint Dionysios church.
On Monday, December 19, 2022,
At 8:30 a.m., a High Priestly Liturgy will be held and then, at 11 a.m., a procession of the relic of Saint Dionysios inside the Church in which he will later be placed within the Holy Larnaca.
