The aim is to inform the citizens about the necessary protection measures and the combat program implemented on the island
The aim of the special event, which will be held by the Regional Unit of Zakynthos, today, Friday, September 2, 2022 from 20.00 to 22.00 in front of the Governor’s Office.
At the stand that will be placed in front of the building of the Regional Unit of Zakynthos, there will be specialized personnel from the company ASPEN (contractor for the execution of the control program) and they will inform citizens about issues concerning mosquitoes, their biology, their stages of development, their development , their proliferation and above all the protection from them.
Also, scientific staff will be available to citizens to answer any relevant question, while they will share printed informational material as well as insect repellents, sponsored by FARMA-CHEM SA.
Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to learn about the broad and comprehensive mosquito control program carried out by the Zakynthos Regional Unit, its purpose and actions, the means used to control mosquitoes and other relevant information, through the display of photos .
Special technological equipment used to carry out the project will be presented and throughout the event the special application for submitting new outbreaks and complaints from the citizens themselves (Mosquito Service Request) will be presented.
During the event there will be gifts for our fellow citizens.
