One of the most impressive boats to moor within our harbour was the “Alfa, previously known as “Alkhor”. It certainly caught a lot of attention this week and she certainly is “eye catching”.
“Alfa” is an award winning yacht, having won in 2021 the prestigious award for Displacement Motor Yacht 1000GT to 1599GT, at the World Super Yacht Awards.
She is the most modern, elegant and versatile boat, she is absolutely stunning as we can see in the photographs below.
She was designed by Bennetti and Laura Pomponi and is the 7th-largest yacht in their fleet. On the Super yacht scale she comes in at 289th. At a length of 70metres, we can see there was nothing spared when it comes to first class luxury.
Her asking price was at €72,000,000, in May 2022, perhaps we wouldn’t expect anything less. She was bought by an “unknown” billionaire, with sources at SuperYachtFan saying the owner is based in Italy.
The main deck imposes an impressive aft area including an alfresco saloon and swimming pool. The main salon offers her guests an abundance of natural light, thanks to the wide panoramic windows. Up to 14 guests are accommodated on board the superyacht Alfa, and she also has accommodation for 21 crew members including the captain of Alfa.
