Zakynthos celebrates in honour of Saint Paraskevi, in true Zakynthian style in the village of Kypseli.
The Parish of Agia Paraskevi, Kypseli and the Cultural Association “O Kefalovrysos” invites all to join in the celebrations.
Monday 25th July,
20.30p.m Religious ceremony at the church of Agia Paraskevi. After the church services, a typical Zakynthian “Panayiri” takes place with music, folk dancing, with food and drinks on offer.
Tuesday,26th July,
Saint Paraskevi feast day.
In honour of the Saint, Paraskevi a religious ceremony will take place at 07.30a.m which will be held by our honourable Archbishop of Zakynthos “Dionysos”.
At 20.30p.m a litany of the icon and relics of Saint Paraskevi will take place, followed by a local “Panayiri”.
Zakynthos Informer would like to remind our visitors that dress code must be adhered to, due to the religious ties.
