In a press release by the Hellenic Police Department five violations in regards to smoking were noted in Zakynthos over the past week. Checks will continue not only on our island but throughout the Ionian Islands.

Controls on the implementation of anti-smoking legislation in the Ionian Islands
-32- violations were confirmed
Police checks by the Services of the General Regional Police Directorate of the Ionian Islands for the implementation of anti-smoking legislation in the Ionian Islands continue.
In this context, during the inspections carried out from 13.05.2022 until the early morning hours today 24.05.2022, by police officers of the Police Directorates in the Ionian Islands, a total of -522- stores were inspected and -32- violations were confirmed which related to anti-smoking legislation and specifically -20- in Corfu, -5- in Zakynthos, -4- in Kefalonia and -3- in Lefkada.
