Yesterday evening, Friday 25/8, Zeus made his appearance to a young couple being married in Zakynthos.   The wedding of a British couple was set against the backdrop of the vast blue sea, Marathonisi island whilst amidst a storm was brewing off the coast of Lagana. At some point the bride raises the bouquet and then something unexpected happens.

 

 

The sky lights up and a spectacular bolt of lightning strikes the sea in the background.  Zakynthian photographer, Haris Pomonis took advantage of the moment and captured a spectacular shot.

As Mr Pomonis says…. May the kiss light up your skies forever!!
